Oral Biology & Maxillofacial Pathology
The Oral Biology and Maxillofacial Pathology PhD program at 麻豆官网首页入口 bridges dental and biomedical sciences to help you advance understanding of the orofacial complex in health and disease. Housed within the Dental College of Georgia, this interdisciplinary program trains you to investigate developmental biology, tissue regeneration, and the molecular mechanisms driving diseases such as oral cancer, diabetes, and hypertension. Your research will integrate anatomy, molecular biology, immunology, pharmacology, and pathology鈥攕upported by faculty who foster innovation and impact. Oral Biology graduates are prepared for academic research roles in dental and medical schools, postdoctoral training in oral biology, careers in diagnostic pathology, or translational research positions within biotech and public health organizations.
