Admission Pathways

Traditional Pathway

The Traditional Pathway is the recommended and most common application and admission pathway. Applicants apply through the standard application process and then, if admitted, select their major advisor and program after a series of laboratory rotations.

Direct Entry Pathway

The Direct Entry Pathway is for applicants and 麻豆官网首页入口 faculty who have an established working relationship prior to applying. Applicants also apply to the Biomedical Sciences PhD program through the standard application process. In addition, they make a binding commitment to a major advisor and program for the duration of their PhD studies as part of the application process and not after laboratory rotations. There are strict deadlines and requirements in addition to the traditional admission deadlines and criteria. Applicants who have not previously worked with an AU faculty member should apply via the traditional pathway. Please contact BIOMED@augusta.edu for Direct Entry requirements, forms and information.

Admission Criteria

(ECE), Josef Silny & Associates, Inc., or World Education Services (WES). Course-by-course transcript evaluations may also be accepted from a current National Association of Credential Evaluation Services, or NACES, member on a case-by-case basis. Official transcript evaluations based on unofficial transcripts, documents or copies will not fulfill this requirement.
