About Physics and Biophysics in CSM
The Physics department is a teaching and research department in the College of Science and Mathematics. We offer physics majors and minors, a dual degree to earn a BS in Physics while also completing a Master of Arts in Teaching, as well as the opportunity to continue higher education information through our Pre-Professional Studies programs.

A Brand New Building
The College of Science and Mathematics has moved into its new location in 2021. Following a $70 million project that took just over two years to construct and equip with scientific instrumentation a four-story, over 125,000-square-foot facility that has 22 teaching labs, a tutoring center, more than 80 faculty offices and will feature a top floor dedicated to research.
