The work, from setup to debrief
Before students arrive
You learn the program, walk the route, prepare materials, and check the latest updates with the team.
While you lead
You welcome a group, explain what happens next, and help students and families get to the right place.
When you do not know an answer
You say so, then connect the person with the staff member or campus office that owns the answer.
After the program
You reset the space, share what participants asked, and help the next session run better.
The questions are real
New students and families may ask:
- Where do I check in?
- Where does my group go next?
- Who can help with this account or campus question?
- What do students wish they had known before their first week?
You do not need to arrive knowing everything. Preparation teaches you what to explain, where to look, and when to bring in a staff member.
