Federal Work Study Program
The is designed to stimulate and promote the part-time employment of students who demonstrate
financial need in accordance with federal guidelines. FWS students are employed in
many departments on campus as well as agencies and organizations throughout the 麻豆官网首页入口
area. All interested students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student
Aid (FAFSA) and other necessary documentation before eligibility can be determined.

The amount of a FWS award depends on the student's financial need, the number of hours
the hiring department needs them to work, and the funding level received by the university.
FWS recipients are awarded a specific amount of funding each year that may be earned
through their employment. Seventy-five percent of a student's earnings are provided
by the federal government and twenty-five percent by the department for which the
student works. The student will receive a response via email within a few business
days. If approved, the student will search for jobs through on the 麻豆官网首页入口 Career Services website. Federal Work-Study offers are contingent upon final approval by both the hiring department
and the Office of Student Financial Aid. Final eligibility and funding availability
will be confirmed at the time of hire and may be subject to change. If eligible and hired, the student will receive a Federal Work Study Award Agreement
that must be signed by the student and supervisor and returned to OSFA. All hiring
paperwork is handled through Human Resources on the Health Sciences Campus.
