Harnessing immunology to fight cancer, cardiovascular disease and other threats
Vascular biology, neuroscience and cancer are areas of great research strength at Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú. IMMCG adds a critical dimension to this strength by deepening exploration of how the body can better defend against health threats — particularly in these areas.
In their careers, IMMCG scientists in the center have uncovered important new knowledge about immunology. Notably, we have knowledge depth in vascular immunology, cancer immunology, mucosal immunology and innate immunity.
Today, we work to advance the field and improve medicine, particularly for those who are underserved in cardiovascular disease and cancer. This involves making contributions to both basic science and translational research.
