.Participate in this award-winning program and represent 麻豆官网首页入口 in the Big Apple! Join fellow Jags at the 2026 Model United Nations Conference in New York City! In this spring course, students will learn about diplomacy and international relations through the lens of another country. In New York City, students will visit famous sights like the Brooklyn Bridge and Statue of Liberty and work with students from schools around the world at the National Model UN Conference.

Day One

Students will fly out of 麻豆官网首页入口 and will depart for New York City. Upon arrival, they鈥檒l take a shuttle to the hotel and settle in. The evening will include a visit to the iconic Empire State Building followed by a cultural group dinner to kick off the week.

Day Two

The morning begins with a ferry ride and visit to the Statue of Liberty, offering a powerful symbol of diplomacy and global unity. In the evening, students will attend the National Model United Nations Opening Ceremony, followed by their first committee sessions.

Day Three

Students will begin the day with a potential visit to their assigned country鈥檚 Permanent Mission to the United Nations (based on availability). They鈥檒l participate in formal NMUN committee sessions, collaborating with other university delegates from around the world.

Day Four

The group will spend the day immersed in debate, resolution drafting, and diplomacy, attending NMUN committee sessions.

Day Five

The final day of committee work. In the evening, students will enjoy a classic New York experience with a Broadway show鈥攁n energizing way to celebrate the hard work of the week.

Day Six

Students will attend the NMUN Closing Ceremony at the United Nations Headquarters in the General Assembly Hall鈥攁 truly memorable and inspiring setting. The group will cap off the evening with a cultural dinner together.

Day Seven

Students will enjoy a free day to explore New York City on their own or in small groups. This is the perfect opportunity for sightseeing, shopping, visiting museums, or relaxing in Central Park.

Day Eight

The group will depart the hotel and fly back to 麻豆官网首页入口.
