Earn course credit while diving headfirst into the magic of Greece, a land of ancient legends, sparkling seas, and sun-drenched cities. Imagine strolling through the same streets once walked by Socrates in Athens, standing in awe before the ancient wonders of Delphi, enjoying the coastal beauty of Nafplion, and diving deep into the history of Corinth and Mycenae. This program brings learning to life through engaging lectures, meaningful discussions, and unforgettable cultural excursions. This program is not just a class; it鈥檚 a journey through history, culture, and self-discovery!

Program Eligibility: Honors students for Honors courses. COMM 4950 open to all students.

Day One - Travel Day

Horizons Motor Coach bus from 麻豆官网首页入口 to the Atlanta airport. Travel to Greece

Day Two - Arrive in Athens

Touch down in Greece and head straight into the heart of Athens! After checking in, explore the charming Plaka neighborhood on a walking tour and enjoy a delicious welcome dinner of traditional Greek cuisine.

Day Three - Athens Icons

Visit the Acropolis and Parthenon, tour the Acropolis Museum, and explore ancient Athens through the Agora and Kerameikos. Cap off the day with free time to wander or grab a gyro in Monastiraki.

Day Four - Delphi & Arahova

Stop by the National Archaeological Museum before heading to mystical Delphi, home of the famous oracle. End your day in the mountaintop village of Arahova鈥攑icture-perfect and full of charm.

Day Five - Corinth & Nafplio

Hit the road with a stop at the epic Corinth Canal, then explore the ancient city of Corinth where St. Paul once preached. End the day arriving in beautiful Nafplio鈥攜our home base for the next few days, full of seaside charm and history around every corner.

Day Six - Nafplio Vibes

Explore Greece鈥檚 first capital, packed with neoclassical charm and seaside beauty. Climb to the Palamidi Fortress, take a dip in the Mediterranean, or grab some gelato and browse local artisan shops.

Day Seven - Mycenae & Epidaurus

Step into Homer鈥檚 world at the legendary citadel of Mycenae, then experience the acoustics of the ancient theater of Epidaurus. Evening free in Nafplio to soak it all in.

Day Eight - Sparta & Karyes

Visit historic Sparta and the haunting ruins of Byzantine Mystras. Stop in Karyes鈥攖he hometown of the Caryatids鈥攆or homemade loukoumades and Greek coffee under ancient plane trees.

Day Nine - Castle Life in Monemvasia

Stay inside a fairytale medieval fortress-town on the sea. Explore cobblestone streets, swim in crystal-clear waters, and enjoy dinner inside the castle walls.

Day Ten - Back to Athens

Head back to Athens for one last stroll, some souvenir shopping, and a farewell dinner overlooking the Parthenon.

Day Eleven - Departure

Say goodbye to Greece and head home with new friends, unforgettable memories, and maybe a plan to return! Horizon Motor Coach from the Atlanta Airport back to 麻豆官网首页入口.
