Notice of Non-Discrimination
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 is a comprehensive federal law that prohibits
discrimination based on the gender of students and employees of educational institutions
that receive federal financial assistance.
鈥淣o person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation
in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education
program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.鈥 20 U.S.C. 搂1681

sexual violence. The university is committed to ensuring a safe environment that supports

not tolerate sexual misconduct, which is prohibited, and includes, but is not limited
to domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, sexual exploitation, sexual
harassment, and stalking.
