Orchestra
The 麻豆官网首页入口 Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. Pawel Kozak is a string ensemble comprised primarily of music majors along with a few music minors, non-majors, and community members. In addition to its regular concert season performances, the orchestra performs in the greater 麻豆官网首页入口 community, plays for the 麻豆官网首页入口 graduation ceremony, and is the featured ensemble for the annual AU concerto competition winner's concert.
By joining the orchestra you can expect to improve your ensemble playing skills, learn and perform various musical styles; from the Baroque through the 20th century, learn proper orchestra rehearsal techniques and discipline, offer public performances at a high standard, and above all, have a wonderful time making music with passionate students and colleagues.
The orchestra rehearses on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 7 p.m. until 8:15 p.m.
