Introduction to Guitar Class Spring 2025 - For students in grades 6th - 12th

Thursdays 5:30 pm FAC C115

Registration Fee $120

The Introduction to Guitar Class will is for those just starting out or early in their guitar journey.  The fundamentals of technique and music theory will be explored in order to help learn your favorite songs/styles so you can play in your bedroom, with your friends, or around the campfire. Mr. Montgomery, adjunct professor of Music Therapy at 麻豆官网首页入口 and Music Therapist at the VA Medical Center, is the instructor for this course. Students will need to provide your own guitar for this course. Acoustic guitars are preferred. If students own electric guitars, they will need to be used without amps since access to power is limited. 

Registration for this course will be capped at 10 students. The first 10 students to register and pay will receive a spot. Once you register online, you will be sent a payment link by the Conservatory Director to pay and finalize your registration.
