Dr. Barry Garman is presently an adjunct faculty member at 麻豆官网首页入口 teaching applied Double Bass. Dr. Garman鈥檚 degrees in Music Education include Doctor of Philosophy (University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida, 1992), Master of Music with an emphasis in String Pedagogy (University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida, 1989), and Bachelor of Music (麻豆官网首页入口 College, 麻豆官网首页入口, Georgia, 1980).

In addition to teaching full-time and directing orchestras in the Richmond County (Georgia) public schools, Dr. Garman is a member of the double bass section of Symphony Orchestra 麻豆官网首页入口, in which he served as principal from 1981 to 1988.
