Pediatric Surgery
The skilled and devoted team who make up the section of Pediatric Surgery work together to perform more than 4,000 pediatric surgeries every year. Working within one of the oldest children's hospitals in the South, we have a long tradition of outstanding surgical care for children.
The is one of only two children's hospitals in Georgia with specially trained pediatric surgeons. We are proud to be able to boast a level of expertise, experience and compassion that sets us apart.
To bring the best of general pediatric and thoracic surgical procedures to our patients, we coordinate care with outstanding specialists that include pediatric gastroenterologists, pediatric anesthesiologists, radiologists, intensivists and pathologists.
We continually strive to find new and different methods, technologies and treatments to benefit and improve the lives of our young patients.
