Virtual Interview Process

The Medical College of Georgia at 麻豆官网首页入口 is an equal opportunity employer with applicants given consideration based on their academic aptitude (USMLE/COMLEX scores and transcript), personal characteristics (personal statement, letters of recommendation, and extracurricular activities), and their potential to excel as a leader in Medicine at 麻豆官网首页入口 (interview day).

The residency program participates in the to screen and setup interview dates for qualified applicants.

Steps of the Interview Process

  1. Apply to our Program via .
  2. Program Recruitment Committee will review all applications and send invitations to those applicants they are interested in interviewing via email.
  3. When applicant receives offer to interview, they will have the option to choose their interview date and move around as necessary to accommodate schedules.
  4. 3 days prior to scheduled interview date, program will email all scheduled applicants with itinerary and other needed information.

 

After the interview day concludes, interviewers (Program Director and Associate Program Directors) submit evaluations of each applicant, and bimonthly Resident Selection Committee meetings are held to review each interviewed applicants file.

Each applicant is objectively scored based on the above criteria, with current resident input based on interactions during the interview process contributing to the final ranking. After careful review of the rank list, the Program Coordinator submits the listing to the (NRMP).
