Welcome from the Chair
I am honored to serve as leader of this wonderful team of staff, housestaff, and faculty that comprise the Department of Radiology and Imaging at the Medical College of Georgia at 麻豆官网首页入口.
There are multiple reasons I chose MCG and which I believe make us special. I want to take this opportunity to share a few of them.
The first is the striking dedication of all the individuals on our team to providing the best possible care for the patients we serve. As part of Georgia's only public medical school, we care for a diverse population including substantial rural and historically underserved residents. This noble purpose is a unifying source of energy and pride for our team.
Another major draw for me is the true passion our faculty have for education. This is reflected in a long tradition of excellence in training programs for residents, fellows, and medical students. It is fascinating to watch this passion express itself over time, ever-evolving with new perspectives and innovative teaching methods.
Probably the greatest draw for me is something I perceived on day one in the Department, and which I continue to be more impressed with every day that passes. That is the quality of relationships within the team here - the deep commitments, caring actions, and acceptance of one another that make us truly like a second family.
