Dr. Gregory Postma joined the faculty at MCG in October 2005 as Professor of Otolaryngology and Director of the MCG Center for Voice, Airway and Swallowing Disorders. Dr. Postma earned his medical degree from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia in 1984. He started his training at the Oakland Naval Hospital and completed his otolaryngology residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1993. He completed a fellowship in laryngology and professional voice at Vanderbilt University and joined the Wake Forest faculty in 1996.

Dr. Postma鈥檚 clinical interests include voice disorders, professional and singing voice care, dysphagia and associated swallowing disorders, airway surgery and reconstruction, spasmodic dysphonia, extra esophageal and gastroesophageal reflux, and chronic cough. He is a pioneer in the area of in-office surgery, including transnasal esophagoscopy and non-sedated laryngeal and airway laser surgery, and has authored or co-authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications and 60 chapters and invited articles in addition to co-editing three books. He has given more than 700 presentations on a wide range of laryngologic topics. He was recently named as one of America's Top Doctors for the 20th consecutive year.

The 麻豆官网首页入口 Center for Voice, Airway and Swallowing is a collaborative effort involving the Departments of Otolaryngology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Pulmonary and Speech-Language Pathology. This team approach to evaluating and managing patients optimizes treatment of voice, swallowing and airway disorders.

It is the Center鈥檚 mission to provide the finest care for laryngologic disorders in North America and to train residents and fellows in the full spectrum of Laryngology.
