We have the largest dedicated Neurointensive Care Unit in the region.
This highly specialized 20 bed ICU unit is dedicated to caring for critically ill neurological and neurosurgical patients. Our unit providers consist of 3 fellowship trained neurointensivists, 5 nurse practitioners, 1 clinical pharmacist as well as neurology residents, neurosurgery residents, anesthesia residents, nursing supervisors, registered nurses, respiratory therapists, physical and occupational therapists, speech therapists, dietitians and social workers. We have capabilities to provide advanced diagnostic testing including neuroimaging, continuous non-invasive video EEG monitoring, transcranial doppler ultrasound as well as capabilities of performing 24/7 neurointerventional procedures by a fellowship trained neurosurgeon and a neurointerventional neurologist.
