Flex Admission Entry
We understand that career goals can change over time so the University System of Georgia
MD/PhD Program offers a flexible MD/PhD program, designed for current medical students
who would like to combine clinical care with biomedical research.
Requirements to apply to the MD/PhD program as an MD student
Current MD students who are in the Pre-Clerkship phase of the MD curriculum can apply
to the MD/PhD program as a Flex applicant. Applicants must be in good academic standing
and have a research plan in place before acceptance into the MD/PhD program.
