The most effective physician-scientists understand the intrinsic value of forging strong relationships and long-lasting friendships. Our program will help you develop both.
Since students can complete their PhDs at various universities and in various departments, we facilitate several events to join students together for interaction and fellowship. These include:
- An annual Summer Retreat in August of each year designed to welcome new students and orient them into the program. The retreat also lets us celebrate the accomplishments of students in their final year of medical school.
- A special Winter Social Gathering in December.
- A Spring Graduation Dinner with students and their families in May.
