Well-being Committee
Composition
This standing committee shall consist of a chair and four members appointed by nomination
of the Committee on Committees and approval of the Executive Committee of the MCG
Faculty Senate.
Function
The purpose of the Wellbeing Committee is to promote the wellbeing of Medical College
of Georgia faculty, physicians and advanced provider practitioners, residents, and
medical students on each of its campuses. The committee shall support a coordinated,
systematic, and sustained effort to assess, prevent and ameliorate burnout, and to
promote positive psychological wellbeing.

Office of Learner Well-being
The Office of Learner Well-being was established in 2020 to support the wellness of our learners in Undergraduate
Medical Education (UME) and Graduate Medical Education (GME) at the Medical College
of Georgia. If you are an MCG-AU medical student, resident, or fellow, then you are a learner.
