RESEARCH INTERESTS

  • Bio
  • The focus of my research include trauma to the nervous system and neural repair. My current collaborations on the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú campus, spanning several colleges and departments, have allowed me to develop novel areas of clinical research. I have been engaged in the field of CNS injury and its amelioration for number of years. I have worked on various animal stroke models including MCAo, SAH and TBI models in rats and mice. My recent work focuses on studying role of inflammation in CNS injury and neurodegenerative diseases in patients.
